Running Logitude? Keep it, or move on.
You can keep the system you run today and add FreighAI around it, or move on from it and let FreighAI be your main system. Start with pricing and operations either way, and add the rest when you are ready.
Logitude is the file your business runs on. Shipments across air, ocean and inland, house and master bills, quotes, invoices, container tracking from the shipping lines, e-AWB, a customer portal and a real automation engine. Most teams keep all of it and put FreighAI around the mail. Some decide the record should move. This page covers both.
Every email your company receives is read, understood and turned into a task for the right person, with the answer already drafted. Your team approves. Nobody lives in the inbox any more.
- 01There are two ways in, and this page covers both. Keep Logitude and add FreighAI around it, or move on from Logitude and let FreighAI be your main system.
- 02Most teams start with the first. Logitude stays the system of record: the shipment file, house and master bills, documents, quotes, AR and AP, tracking, e-AWB, the portal and the CRM.
- 03Logitude also has a real automation engine. Triggers apply to shipments, masters, quotes, AR invoices, AP invoices, containers and workflows. When the conditions occur, an email is sent, a follow-up is created, a status is updated or a field value is set.
- 04The difference is direction, not effort. Every one of those triggers fires on a record that already exists inside Logitude. The work that hurts has not become a record yet: the enquiry nobody has opened, the agent’s rate reply, the carrier bill.
- 05FreighAI works that side of the line. It watches every company mailbox, pricing, operations, tracking and accounts, and follows each conversation from start to finish. It writes the reply, creates the task, and puts it in front of the right person in the right department, beside the original conversation. Your team approves. They do not compose, forward, file or chase. The reply goes out in their name.
- 06Reading an incoming email into an enquiry, emailing your agents and chasing the quiet ones, and drafting the customer reply are not described in Logitude’s published material, checked September 2026. There is no live Logitude connector and this page does not invent one. We scope the first workflow, integration requirements and implementation plan with your team.
What Logitude already holds for you
A team on Logitude has most of the operating record in one place. Its published material describes import and export shipments across air, ocean and inland, direct or as house and master bills for consolidation. Any freight document prints from that file, and AR and AP invoices are created against the shipment. Operational accounting covers collection, credit limits, vendor management and VAT localisations.
Around that file sit the modules Logitude names on its own product pages. Quotes go out to customers and agents. Container status comes back from the shipping lines you are connected with, and e-AWB is built in. The digital portal gives your customer the routing timeline, status, documents and invoices, and lets them accept or decline an offer. Its August 2024 release notes add the rate side: a sales tariff, a price check on a routing rate, and sale prices filled from a cost price check.
Then there is the automation module. Logitude describes it as an easy way to set up actions that happen automatically when something specific happens. Triggers apply to shipments, masters, quotes, AR and AP invoices, containers and workflows. The email result is available in all of them. Follow-up creation, including documents out and documents in, works on shipments, masters and quotes. Event creation updates statuses, and set field value updates fields. Logitude prices this in credits: 1,000 per person on Smart at $75.00 a month and 2,000 on Professional at $99.00, for the execution of Automations, Workflows, APIs and Scheduled Reports. No credit period is stated.
Read those actions and they all have the same shape. Something inside Logitude changes, a condition matches, and a message goes outward. That is useful.
Look at the first hour of a Tuesday instead. An ocean enquiry lands in pricing@ with no gross weight on the packing list, and somebody writes back to ask. Somebody emails four agents for a lane you do not hold, then remembers to chase two. A booking confirmation arrives in operations@ and a person keys it in. A customer writes to tracking@ rather than opening the portal. A carrier bill lands in accounts@. None of it is a Logitude record until a person makes it one:
- Which enquiries and agent rate replies arrive before anything exists in Logitude?
- Which chasers depend on somebody remembering rather than on a trigger?
- Which Logitude record has to stay the authoritative one for that work?
Enquiries, agent rate replies, booking confirmations and carrier bills arrive here first. None is a Logitude record yet.
Reads the thread, asks for what is missing, chases your agents, drafts the reply and hands a finished task to the right person.
Shipments, house and master bills, documents, quotes and tariffs, AR and AP, tracking, the portal, the CRM and the trigger automations.
What changes when the mail is worked for you?
FreighAI works that inbox instead of your people. It watches every company mailbox, pricing, operations, tracking and accounts, and follows each conversation from start to finish. It works out what each email is and what it needs, then takes the action that message calls for. Follow-ups, chasers and reminders happen on their own, on the same conversation. Your people work in FreighAI, not in the inbox.
The email is only the start. The real time goes on what comes after it. Find the rate on the carrier’s site. Check the tracking in another tab. Open the TMS for the job. Look up what you charged this customer last time. Forward it to operations and wait. Chase the agent, or forget to. FreighAI does all of that itself. It pulls your rate cards, checks the carrier, looks up the customer’s history, reads the shipment status, and talks to your TMS or accounting system. It chases what has not come back. It passes the work from pricing to operations to accounts, with the email and everything it found attached. Nobody forwards it. Nobody re-keys it. Nobody asks for an update. Then it puts the finished piece in front of the right person, with the reply already written.
Your people work in FreighAI. Not in the inbox. Not in five browser tabs. Logitude keeps the record.
Three kinds of mail reach a forwarder before any system knows they exist:
- The enquiry nobody has opened. FreighAI spots what is missing in an enquiry and drafts the email asking for it. It emails all your agents for a lane in one go, with the route and charge lines filled in, then chases the ones who do not reply.
- The customer asking where the cargo is. It answers “where is my cargo?” on the customer’s own thread, from carrier status, for approval.
- The carrier bill. It reads a carrier bill and matches every airway bill back to its job, checking line by line before it is booked.
None of that disturbs a trigger you already run in Logitude. A status update, a documents-out follow-up, an automatic email on an AP invoice: each keeps firing.

One screen. The enquiry, before Logitude has a record for it.
The inbound stack: this morning’s enquiries, already read and sorted, with the missing details chased and the agents emailed. None of it exists in a shipment file yet, which is why no trigger could have caught it.
- Read, not just receivedWorks out what each email is and what it needs, then takes the action that message calls for.
- The legwork is already donePulls your rate cards, checks the carrier, looks up the customer’s history, reads the shipment status, and talks to your TMS or accounting system.
- Nothing sends without a personYour team approves every reply before it sends.
Keep Logitude, or move on.
You can keep the system you run today and add FreighAI around it, or move on from it and let FreighAI be your main system. Start with pricing and operations either way, and add the rest when you are ready.
Keep Logitude. Add FreighAI around it.
This is the door most Logitude teams take, and the rest of this page argues it. Logitude keeps the record. FreighAI works the mail that is not a record yet.
- Logitude keeps the shipment file, the bills, the documents, the quotes and tariffs and the ledger.
- Your trigger automations keep firing. Nothing you built in Logitude is touched.
- FreighAI takes the mail that arrives before any of that exists. The enquiry, the agent’s rate reply, the carrier bill.
- Your team approves every reply. A won quote hands the job over to Logitude.
Move on from Logitude. FreighAI becomes your main system.
The other door. You work in FreighAI and let Logitude go. Start with pricing and operations, and bring the rest across when you are ready.
- Enquiries and the quotes that follow them.
- Jobs, once a quote is won.
- Tracking replies to customers who email you.
- Carrier bills, matched line by line.
- Payment follow-ups and chasers.
- Your accounts. Finance runs inside FreighAI.
- Customs filing. FreighAI treats customs as an agent, and your team keeps the filing details up to date.
- The carrier connections. Container status from the lines, and e-AWB, still have to come from somewhere.
- A customer portal, if yours log in for status and invoices rather than emailing you.
- Statutory books. Bank reconciliation, accruals and VAT localisations stay with your accountant.
- How long have you had Logitude?
A file your team has built for ten years is worth keeping. One bought last year is a different decision.
- Does your team work in Logitude, or around it?
Watch one Tuesday morning. If the day happens in the inbox and Logitude gets updated afterwards, cost the second door.
- What would you lose?
List what only Logitude holds: the customs clearance on the file, the customer portal, the container feeds. Each one needs a home first.
- What do your contract and your data say?
Ask your Logitude account manager when the agreement renews and how you get your own history out. Ask. Do not assume.
On its own, FreighAI runs your enquiries, quotes, jobs, tracking replies, carrier bills, payment follow-ups and your accounts. FreighAI does not file customs declarations. It treats customs as a service provider or agent, and your team adds and updates the filing details by hand.
Which parts of FreighAI would a Logitude team use?
Quotation Agent
The enquiry arrives by email or WhatsApp, before a Logitude quote exists to fire on. FreighAI spots what is missing in an enquiry and drafts the email asking for it. It emails all your agents for a lane in one go, with the route and charge lines filled in, then chases the ones who do not reply. Quotes expire on their own and can be revived if you want. Your tariffs and the quote record stay in Logitude.
Booking and Job Orders Agent
A won quote becomes a job on its own, fully filled in. A confirmation landing in operations@ becomes a task for whoever owns the thread. What Logitude needs from that job is settled in scoping.
Tracking Agent
FreighAI answers “where is my cargo?” on the customer’s own thread, from carrier status, for approval. The portal serves every customer willing to log in. This covers the ones who write instead.
Invoice Reconciliation
FreighAI reads a carrier bill and matches every airway bill back to its job, checking line by line before it is booked. Logitude keeps the AR and AP ledger and the profit and loss. Whether the matched result returns to Logitude is a scoping decision.
Start with the enquiry your team still prices by hand, because that is the one with no Logitude record to fire on.
What happens to one enquiry
Quotation is where a Logitude team feels this first. The enquiry lands long before there is a quote record to fire on.
An enquiry arrives. FreighAI reads it, notices the weight is missing and asks for it. It pulls your rate cards, checks the carrier for a live rate, and emails your agents for the lanes you do not hold, then chases them until they reply. It drafts the quote with your margin rules and what that customer paid on that lane last time. Your pricer approves and it goes. It follows up. When the customer pushes back, the counter-offer is already drafted. When the quote is old, it expires. When it is won, the job is created.
Where the rate can be fetched without waiting on a person — a carrier API, a portal read in the background, or your own uploaded rate cards — a priced quote goes out in 10–15 minutes instead of 1–2 hours. That holds for ocean and air just as it does for express; the mode does not change it. Where a lane has to be priced by another agent or over the phone, the wait belongs to whoever is answering — not to the software. FreighAI still writes the RFQ, chases the reply, and turns whatever comes back into a priced, margin-checked quote the moment it lands.
The scope then decides what approved information belongs in Logitude and how it gets there. We scope the first workflow, integration requirements and implementation plan with your team.

Where a trigger fires, and where the mail lands
Not a criticism of Logitude, a description of two moments in the same day.
Logitude publishes its trigger surface openly, which makes an honest comparison possible. Seven kinds of record can carry an automation, and each has to exist before anything fires on it. That is where FreighAI’s work sits.
| What a Logitude trigger fires on | What has to exist first | What arrives before that |
|---|---|---|
| Shipments and masters | A shipment or master already on the file | The booking confirmation nobody has keyed in |
| Quotes | A quote already raised in Logitude | The enquiry nobody has opened, with the gross weight missing |
| AR and AP invoices | An invoice already posted | The carrier bill still to be matched airway bill by airway bill |
| Containers | A container already on the shipment | The customer emailing to ask where the cargo is |
| Workflows | A workflow already defined | The agent’s rate reply still to be read, compared and priced |

An automation can only fire on a record that already exists. The work that hurts has not become a record yet.
That is also why this is not the same spend twice. Logitude’s credits pay for the execution of Automations, Workflows, APIs and Scheduled Reports. FreighAI carries what arrives before a record exists. Same team. 5x more business. You keep your own carrier accounts and negotiated rates. FreighAI never sits between you and your carrier relationship.
The objections we hear most
“Logitude already automates our work. What is left for you?”
The automation module is real. Triggers on shipments, masters, quotes, AR and AP invoices, containers and workflows, with emails, follow-ups, event creation and field updates. Every one needs a Logitude record to fire on. The enquiry nobody has opened and the carrier bill nobody has matched are not records yet.
“We already pay for automation credits per person. Is this the same spend twice?”
It would be if both did the same job, and they do not. Logitude’s credits pay for the execution of Automations, Workflows, APIs and Scheduled Reports. FreighAI reads the mail before it becomes a record and hands over a finished task. If a Logitude trigger already covers a workflow well, that is the wrong place to start.
“Are you asking us to move off Logitude?”
Only if you want to. You can keep the system you run today and add FreighAI around it, or move on from it and let FreighAI be your main system. Start with pricing and operations either way, and add the rest when you are ready. On its own, FreighAI runs your enquiries, quotes, jobs, tracking replies, carrier bills, payment follow-ups and your accounts. Which parts you keep and which you retire is your call, and the two doors above set out how to decide.
“Our customers have the digital portal. Why would they email us?”
Many will use it, and Logitude describes a portal giving them status, documents, invoices and the option to accept or decline an offer. Then look at tracking@ on a Monday. Some customers will always write rather than log in, and the agents and carriers writing to you have no portal login.
Common questions
Can FreighAI be my main system instead of Logitude?
Yes, if that is what you want. On its own, FreighAI runs your enquiries, quotes, jobs, tracking replies, carrier bills, payment follow-ups and your accounts. FreighAI does not file customs declarations. It treats customs as a service provider or agent, and your team adds and updates the filing details by hand. The container feeds from the lines, e-AWB and the customer portal are things Logitude holds today, so give each one a home before you move.
Do we have to move data out of Logitude?
Not as a rule. A first workflow may need only the context for the thread being worked. Anything that has to move is named and justified during scoping.
Can FreighAI write into Logitude?
The confirmed scope for your workflow answers that. Logitude’s FAQ of 3 September 2026 describes an API tool at no additional cost to FC customers with ten or more people and $300 a month for everyone else, and its pricing page counts an API at one credit. An API on a price list is not a tested connection, and no Logitude connector is live. We scope the first workflow, integration requirements and implementation plan with your team.
What happens to the follow-up automations we already run?
They keep running. Logitude describes follow-up creation on shipments, masters and quotes, and none of it is touched. FreighAI works on mail that has not reached a record, so there is nothing to overwrite.
Where do our tariffs and the price check sit?
They stay in Logitude. The sales tariff, the price check and the auto-filled sale prices are described in its August 2024 release notes rather than on a product page. FreighAI handles the lane with no tariff behind it. It emails all your agents for a lane in one go, with the route and charge lines filled in, then chases the ones who do not reply.
Does a person still read every reply before it goes?
Yes, on every workflow. Your team approves every reply before it sends. Your team approves. They do not compose, forward, file or chase. The reply goes out in their name. Chasing, tracking checks, quote expiry and follow-ups run on their own. Nobody has to remember. The supervision rules are set per workflow.
