Pricing Desk Workshop
Ninety minutes on a working FreighAI account, built on your own rate cards before you sit down. Your desk prices real enquiries, not a demo.
- A working account on your own rate cards, in your own quote format
- Real enquiries priced by you, from your own pricing inbox
- The account and the credits are yours to keep afterwards
- How you join
- By application
- One to one
- Length
- About 90 minutes
- Cost
- Free
- No obligation
- Your carrier rate cardsExactly as they are. Long, messy, many tabs, PDFs. Reading them is the job.
- One past quotationAny recent one. We copy your format, so what comes out looks like yours.
- Your pricing mailboxGmail or Outlook. Read access to that one mailbox, nothing else.
- Your margin rulesOnly if they are written down. If they live in people's heads, say so.
We book the date when the last one arrives
What the ninety minutes include
Five parts. Your account is built before you arrive, so the whole session is your hands on it.
- Your own account
A working FreighAI account, set up before the session from your rate cards, your margin rules and one past quotation. Not a sandbox and not our sample data.
- Your rate cards, read
Sent exactly as they are — long, messy, many tabs, PDFs. Reading them is the job, so please do not spend time tidying them up.
- Your pricing inbox, connected
Read access to that one mailbox, so the enquiries you work in the session are the ones that actually landed. Nothing goes out to a customer: the AI drafts, you decide.
- AI credits, loaded
So the desk can keep testing after we leave, on real enquiries, without asking anybody for anything.
- The account, afterwardsYours to keep
Yours to keep, with whatever credits remain, until they run out. Nothing changes in how you work today — your existing process keeps running alongside.
Two desks, one room. Find yours.
You are the one who reads the enquiry, opens the rate cards, chases the agent and writes the quote. Every AI demo you have been shown ran on a vendor’s tidy sample data, on a lane you do not work, with rates that are not yours. So you still do not know whether it would survive your Tuesday.
You quote every day. Your number is minutes per quote, and you time it yourself in the session.
You chase, you confirm, you key things in. Bring the lane that ate your Tuesday.
The bills, the manifests, the missing copy. You sit with the operations track.
You read enquiries and send quotes. Rate cards, portals, agents, margin, and the customer waiting.
ExampleYou bring a real enquiry with the weight missing. You ask for it, price the lane from your own rates, and send the quote yourself.
You chase agents, carriers and customers, and you key the same details in again. Documentation staff sit here too.
ExampleYou bring a lane with four agents to chase. You send all four in one go. Then you answer a where is my cargo email from the tool.
your head of department. They have their own session, where they decide whether this is worth doing. Here you do it yourself.
Is AI coming for my job?
We answer that head on, because it is the honest question. What it takes on is the part nobody wants: the copying, the chasing, the keying in. What is left needs a person who knows freight, and you get to do more of it. You also come out of it as the one person in your company who can do this. Nobody else is watching, it is your own enquiry, and nobody is asked to perform.
Minutes per quote
Two desks read this page, so there are two numbers. Both are counted the same way: by hand, on a notepad, on one ordinary morning.
- What it is
- You open an enquiry at 9:10. The price goes out at 10:40. That one quote cost you 90 minutes of your morning.
- How to measure it tomorrow morning
- Keep a notepad by your screen tomorrow morning. Write the time you open each enquiry. Write the time the quote goes out. Do that for five. Add the five gaps and divide by five.
- Why it matters to you
- Your day is only so long. Every minute here is a minute the next enquiry does not get. Cut this number and the pile on your desk stops growing.
- What good looks like
- Infinity Logistics, a customer we can name, went from more than 60 minutes to about 15. Their signed numbers are further down this page.
Count what you sent, not what you started. This is the number that shows your day getting easier.
Every nudge to an agent, a carrier or a customer that you wrote out by hand. Count them for one day. Most people are surprised.
The same weight and address go into the enquiry, the quote, the job and the invoice. Count how often you type them for one shipment.
- Say six enquiries land on you. At 90 minutes each that is nine hours. Half of it was fetching and typing.
- Where the rate can be fetched without waiting on a person, the same quote goes out in 10 to 15 minutes. You read it, change what you would change, and approve.
- In the workshop you do this sum on your own enquiry, with your own rates. Nobody has to take our word for it.
These are round numbers, not a promise about your desk. The notepad on your desk tomorrow gives you the real one.
Your day is minutes per quote and chasers by hand. Both are bigger than they should be.
Nobody writes pages about the quoting desk. So here is your day, in your own numbers, and what each one costs you.
Read the email. Open the attachment. Copy the weight into a sheet. Hunt a rate in two portals. Wait for a check. Then type the reply.
Four agents on one lane. A carrier who went quiet. A customer asking where the cargo is. Each one is an email you type yourself.
The weight goes in the enquiry. Then the quote. Then the job. Then the invoice. You key it in every time.
Your customer asked three or four forwarders at once. The first sensible price often gets the booking.
Four things that move when the fetching and typing is done for you
Four things move when the fetching and the typing are done for you. Where a number is needed, it is Infinity Logistics' signed number, not ours.
The first sensible price usually wins the booking. You send it more often, because the quote is not still waiting on you. At Infinity Logistics, the win rate rose from 35% to 73%.
Fewer mistakes come back with your name on them. You key the same weight in once, not four times. At Infinity Logistics, the quotation error rate fell from 67% to under 5%.
The same desk gets through more. Growth stops meaning a new colleague hired in a panic. Infinity Logistics quoted 70% more shipments with the same five-person team, comparing Q4 2024 with Q4 2025.
You stop opening three portals to find one answer. Answers “where is my cargo?” on the customer’s own thread, from carrier status, for approval. The customer hears back in minutes, not after lunch.
By the end, you can do these things
- Read an enquiry and spot what is missing, in under a minute.
- Price one enquiry from your own rates, on the tool.
- Draft and approve a reply without typing it out yourself.
- Chase every agent on a lane in one go.
- Answer where is my cargo from the tool, on the customer's own thread.
- Explain to your boss in one paragraph what you did and what it saved.
- Name the five things an agent does, and the one rule that keeps it safe.
- Say what the agent did and what you did, on your own enquiry.
The account stays yours, with your rate cards in it and your quote format on the way out. With it go the enquiries you worked in the session, priced by you, and the two numbers you timed: what one quote costs you today, and what it cost on the tool.
- Your minutes per quote today, timed by you on your own enquiry
- The same enquiry worked on the tool, in a form you can forward
- A completion note with your name on it
- The four moves, so you can do them again on Monday
- Infinity Logistics' signed numbers, named, to measure yourself against
Meant to reachYour head of pricing and your owner. You priced them, so the numbers are yours to show.
- The session is about your work, not our slides. You will see FreighAI, because that is the thing you are putting your hands on, and at the end we will tell you plainly what is free and what is paid. Nobody is obliged to buy anything.
- One to one means one company at a time, not one person. Bring anyone else from your firm who should be there, as long as this is the right programme for their job. You are never in a room with another company.
- Applying is not the same as being accepted. Every session is run by a person, on your own work, so places are limited and there are conditions — the programme has to be the right one for your role, and we have to be able to help.
- Applications are read in the order they arrive. We get more than we can take at once, so there is usually a wait for a date. You will be told where you stand, and you will hear back either way.
- Send the rate cards exactly as they are. Reading them is the job, and tidying them up wastes your afternoon.
- Your rates, your customers and your enquiries are used to build and run your account, and for nothing else. Nobody outside your firm and our team sees them.
- Nothing goes out to a customer during the session. The AI drafts, your desk decides what is sent. It never replies on its own.
- Nothing changes in how you work today. Your existing process keeps running alongside, exactly as it is.
- We are a small team and every session is run by a person, on your own work. So we read each application and talk to you first. It is not about keeping people out. It is about not wasting your morning on something that was never going to fit.
One customer signed off their numbers. Here they are, named.
We do not show averages we cannot stand behind. Infinity Logistics, a UAE forwarder, has run on FreighAI for more than a year and signed a reference in May 2026. These are their numbers, not a promise about your desk.
One company, one year, one signed reference. It is not a promise about your desk. In the workshop you do not read a number. You time your own, on your own enquiry, with your own hands.
The risks, named, and what counters each one
A page that hides the risk is a pitch. These are the four that land on your desk, and what counters each one.
The tool prices a lane wrong, or promises a date nobody can keep.
CounterYour team approves every reply before it sends. Every version of a quote is kept, and the line that changed is shown. In your session, ask us to show you one it got wrong.
A new screen on top of the day job. Two people try it and the rest carry on as before.
CounterThere is a curve and we will not pretend there is not. Your people work in FreighAI, not in the inbox. It is one screen, and you approve rather than type. Ninety minutes on your own enquiry shows you how steep it really is.
You wonder whether this is coming for the work you were hired to do.
CounterThe part it takes is the fetching and the typing. The judging stays with you. Your team approves. They do not compose, forward, file or chase. The reply goes out in their name.
It is bought, set up, and never really runs on your real work.
CounterOne lane at a time, with the desk involved, until it runs on your own data. Here you start with one real enquiry, not a big switch.
Who is in control
The worry we hear most: what if the AI misbehaves, and do I have any control? Here is the honest answer, part by part.
Every message a customer sees waits for a person. The agent does the work, creates a task, and notifies the person to sign it off. Quotes, counter-offers, tracking answers, anything a customer reads.
At the sign-off, the person can edit the message, approve it, or reject it. It is an editable panel, and that is the point of it. Every version of a quote is kept, and the line that changed is shown.
An approved message goes out in the person’s own name, with their own signature, from their own email. No customer ever sees that AI works behind it.
Autonomy is set per task type: supervised, where a person signs, or automatic. Every message a customer sees is locked to supervised. Chasers, reminders, tracking checks and quote expiry can be set to run on their own. The rules and timing for chasers and reminders are set by the head of operations or an admin. Quote expiry rules are set by the pricing executive. Chasers and reminders can be switched off for one customer or one lane.
Role-based access control: the admin decides who can see, edit and approve what, role by role. A junior desk can be allowed to draft and not to send.
The 85% is effort taken out of the cycle: the reading, fetching, drafting and chasing. A person still signs every customer-facing message.
There is no pause switch yet for one customer, one lane or the whole company. Today the person at the sign-off is that control: nothing a customer sees goes out without a person. Such cases are the exception. There is no automatic margin floor yet. Today it is the staff’s job at the sign-off to keep a quote above the margin. Automatic floors are planned.
Real companies, real work, with the source beside each one
One customer so far, named, with numbers they signed. More go on this list as they are signed.
- Infinity Logistics
At Infinity Logistics, average response time fell from more than 60 minutes to about 15 minutes, and the win rate rose from 35% to 73%. Infinity Logistics quoted 70% more shipments with the same five-person team, comparing Q4 2024 with Q4 2025.
- C.H. Robinson
More than 30 AI agents read emailed quote and capacity requests, price the quote, process the order, classify the freight and set the appointment. Stated result: "delivers customer-specific price quotes in just 32 seconds"; "5,500 truckload orders per day", "saving 600 hours of labor daily"; "Instead of waiting up to four hours for a person to get to their shipment in an email queue, over 5,200 customers are getting their loads accepted in under 90 seconds".
- Forto
An assistant called Flash scans email for booking requests, pulls out the details, picks a vessel and files the documents to the shipment. Stated result: No number stated ("often within minutes").
- Kuehne+Nagel
AI checks proof-of-delivery photos from road carriers, rejects unreadable or invalid ones and asks for a new one. Stated result: No number stated.
Why nobody at your desk has tried this yet, and what the workshop does about each reason.
These are the eight things people at your desk actually say. Not one of them is silly. Every one of them changed how these ninety minutes are built.
“Is this coming for my job?”
HereThe honest answer is that it takes the fetching, the copying and the typing. The judging stays with you, and you get more room for it. Your team approves every reply before it sends. Nothing goes out in your name unless you say so. You also leave as the one person in your firm who can do this.
“What if I get it wrong in front of somebody?”
HereNobody is graded. Nobody presents. There is nobody else watching: it is your own space, and one of our people is there to help. You work on your own screen, at your own pace.
“I do not have ninety minutes. My inbox does not stop.”
HereIt is ninety minutes, once, online. You spend it on a real enquiry out of that same inbox. So it is work you had to do anyway, and you leave with it done. No homework, no reading first.
“My boss will see this as me wanting to change everything.”
HereNothing at your office changes because you came. Your desk runs exactly as it did this morning. What you made is yours. Forward it to your boss, or say nothing at all. That call is yours.
“I am not technical.”
HereYou do not need to be. If you can read an enquiry and know a sensible price, you have the hard skill already. The four moves are read it, ask, price it, approve it. We do the first one together.
“I will have to learn a new system on top of the day job.”
HereThere is a learning curve and we will not pretend there is not. Your people work in FreighAI, not in the inbox. It is one screen. The enquiry, what was found, and the draft reply all sit on it. Ninety minutes tells you how steep it really is.
“What if the enquiry I bring is a mess?”
HereBring the messiest one you have. A forwarded email with three replies stuck to it. A photo of a packing list. No weight anywhere. Made-up examples always behave, which is why we never use them.
“Is somebody going to sell to me or to my company afterwards?”
HereThe session is about your work. Nobody rings you or your company afterwards unless you ask. What it costs is a separate talk your owner asks for, if they ever want it.
One enquiry, four moves
This is the shape of the ninety minutes. It is also the shape of every enquiry after them. Four moves, in this order, on every enquiry that lands.
- 01Read it
Open the enquiry with everything that came attached. What is being shipped, from where to where, by when. You see how much is picked out for you before you type a word.
- 02Ask for what is missing
Nearly every enquiry is short of something. A weight, a size, an address, an incoterm. You find the gap, check the question drafted for it, and send it.
- 03Price it, or chase the lane
Pricing track prices from your own rates, on your own lane. Operations track writes to all four agents in one go and lets the chasers run.
- 04Decide what goes out
You read the draft as your customer would. Then you approve it, edit it, or hold it. That step stays yours. Then you time the quote and write your number down.
Your account is already built on your own rates before you sit down. So all ninety minutes are your hands on the tool.
- 0 to 10Your number, before anything
You write down what one quote costs you today, in minutes, from the last one you actually sent. That is the figure everything else is measured against.
- 10 to 25A tour of your own account
Your rate cards as the AI read them, your quote format, your margin rules where you have them. Argue with what it got wrong — that is useful to us.
- 25 to 55Real enquiries, your hands
Straight from your own pricing inbox. Read it, ask for what is missing, price it from your own cards, draft the reply in your format. You drive, we help.
- 55 to 75The awkward ones
A lane your cards do not cover. A weight that is missing. An attachment nobody can read. Ask us to show you it failing — you need to know what that looks like.
- 75 to 90Your number again, and what you keep
Minutes per quote on the tool, next to the figure you wrote at the start. Then what stays with you: the account, the credits, and the quotes you priced.
- You apply. A person reads it and calls you, so we know which lanes and which carriers matter before we build anything.
- You send four things: your carrier rate cards as they are, one past quotation, read access to your pricing mailbox, and your margin rules if they are written down anywhere.
- We build your account on those, and we book the date when the last item arrives — not when the first one does. The rate cards are usually the slowest, so start there.
- About ninety minutes, one to one, with one of our people beside you the whole way.
- You time one quote the way you do it today. Then you work real enquiries out of your own inbox on your own account.
- You decide what would go out. Nobody is graded, nobody presents, nobody is put on the spot.
- The account is yours, with the credits, until they run out. Carry on testing on real enquiries if you want to.
- Show your head of pricing, or keep the skill to yourself. Nobody chases you either way.
- If you want a next step it is the masterclass for your head of pricing, or the assessment for your owner.
The tool is the exercise here, not a slide about the tool. You do every one of these five yourself, on real enquiries out of your own inbox.
TodayYou read the email, open the PDF, and work out what is being asked for.
On the toolWorks out what each email is and what it needs, then takes the action that message calls for. Reads PDF, Excel, Word, forwarded email, WhatsApp messages, photos and scans.
TodayYou type the question about the weight. Then you remember to chase, or you do not.
On the toolSpots what is missing in an enquiry and drafts the email asking for it. Follow-ups, chasers and reminders happen on their own, on the same conversation.
TodayRate cards, two portals, a sheet for the margin. This is where the hour goes.
On the toolPulls your rate cards, checks the carrier, looks up the customer’s history, reads the shipment status, and talks to your TMS or accounting system. Suggests a price from what that customer paid on that lane before, within your margin rules.
TodayYou write to each agent one by one. Later you check who never wrote back.
On the toolEmails all your agents for a lane in one go, with the route and charge lines filled in, then chases the ones who do not reply.
TodayYou type the reply and wait for a check. A won quote is keyed into a job by hand.
On the toolYour team approves every reply before it sends. Answers “where is my cargo?” on the customer’s own thread, from carrier status, for approval. A won quote becomes a job on its own, fully filled in.
85% of quotes are processed end-to-end by AI; the remaining 15% route to your team. That 15% is the judging. It is the part of your job worth keeping.

Where we stand, on the record
The policy, the government data and the technology all arrived within a few years of each other. That window is open now, and it is open to any forwarder willing to spend a morning on it.
FreighAI has been an authorised ULIP user since August 2026 and works with its APIs directly: port and container tracking, customs status, air cargo, vehicle and FASTag data, e-way bills, and GST and IEC checks.
What we read through ULIP→ULIP exists because of the National Logistics Policy 2022, which also set the country a target: India in the top 25 of the World Bank's Logistics Performance Index by 2030, and logistics costs down towards single digits as a share of GDP.
The policy, and what we do with it→AggAiLabs Software Solutions Private Limited, with its office in Pune, India, recognised by DPIIT under number DIPP232097. That is a public record, and you can check it without asking us.
The company behind FreighAI→Infinity Logistics put their own numbers in writing in May 2026 and let us publish them. Every figure on this website comes from that document, and we name them every time we use one.
Read the reference→Being an authorised ULIP user means we are licensed to read the government’s logistics data through its APIs. It does not mean the government endorses FreighAI or has any view on this Playground.
Before you sign up
What is minutes per quote?
The time from you opening an enquiry to the quote leaving your desk, for one person. Time five of them tomorrow morning and you have your own number.
Which track should I pick?
Pricing if you send quotes. Operations if you chase and key things in. Documentation staff sit with operations. You can watch the other track too.
Will this make my job smaller?
No, and we say so in the session rather than dodging it. The fetching and typing is what moves. The judging is what you keep, and you get more time for it.
How is this different from the session for my head of department?
That one is for them, and it is about deciding whether this is worth doing. This one is about doing it, with your own hands, on your own enquiry.
Do I need my boss's permission?
No. You come as yourself, for your own skill. One or two seats per firm, so a colleague can come too. What you show them afterwards is your call.
What counts as a real enquiry?
A recent request you handled yourself. Whatever came with it: a PDF, a sheet, a forwarded email, a photo. Messy is good. Messy is the point.
Do you have a result I can look at?
At Infinity Logistics, average response time fell from more than 60 minutes to about 15 minutes, and the win rate rose from 35% to 73%. Infinity Logistics quoted 70% more shipments with the same five-person team, comparing Q4 2024 with Q4 2025. That is one customer's signed result, not a promise about your desk. You leave with a number of your own instead.
Not sure which programme is yours?
Start at the Playground. It shows the three programmes side by side and which one belongs to your role.
