FreighAI vs Wisor
Compare the work, not the slogans. Both companies sell AI-led software for freight forwarders. Both address quotation and commercial work. Both can sit alongside an existing TMS or ERP.
FreighAI’s starting point is different in kind. Every email your company receives is read, understood and turned into a task for the right person, with the answer already drafted. Your team approves. Nobody lives in the inbox any more.
Where Wisor is the better fit, this page says so. Where FreighAI is the better fit, it explains why. All competitor statements were checked against Wisor’s current public material on 1 September 2026 and rechecked on 2 September 2026.

- 01Wisor and FreighAI both sell AI software to freight forwarders. Both turn an incoming RFQ into a quote that a person reviews before it goes.
- 02Wisor is stronger on central rate management and on a tightly presented quote-to-revenue process. It also reads phone logs, which FreighAI does not offer today.
- 03Wisor works inside your inbox. FreighAI works instead of it: every company mailbox, every department, each conversation followed to the end and turned into a task for the right person. It also does the work behind the email: the rate, the carrier check, the chase, the hand-off to the next department.
- 04FreighAI covers more of the job after the quote: booking and job orders, tracking replies, carrier-bill matching and payment collection.
- 05Several Wisor areas are not established by its public material. Ask about them in a demo. This page never treats silence as absence.
- 06Bring the same three RFQs and one live email thread to both demonstrations. Judge the work, not the slogans.
What Wisor does well
Wisor presents a coherent commercial platform for freight forwarders. Its public story is unusually focused: connect the incoming enquiry, rates, quotation, pipeline and operational hand-off so the commercial team can move from RFQ to revenue.
Wisor leads with rates, quotes and revenue, and connects the sales pipeline, rate management and quote preparation into one commercial operating story. A buyer whose urgent problem sits inside the commercial team can evaluate Wisor around a recognisable sequence: enquiry, rates, quote, customer response, follow-up and hand-off.
Wisor publicly describes centralising carrier rates, spot rates and agent pricing, flagging expired rates, comparing contracted and spot options, applying margin and producing branded output. For a business whose main problem is fragmented rate sources, this is a genuine strength. Wisor gives rate management more prominence and public detail than FreighAI currently does as a separate platform area.
Wisor links RFQ intake from email, portals and phone logs with quote preparation, customer online approval, pipeline visibility and hand-off toward booking or the existing TMS/ERP. Its current material also describes CRM, scheduling and booking. The buyer is offered a commercial process, not only a document.
Wisor says plainly that it works on top of an existing TMS as a quoting layer rather than replacing it. Its integration material names CargoWise, Magaya, Softlink and others, and describes accepted quotes flowing to the TMS for booking. Wisor does not make a forced migration the centre of its pitch. These are Wisor’s first-party product claims. This comparison does not repeat its published speed, conversion, onboarding or customer-result numbers because the underlying evidence has not been independently reviewed for this page.
Same decision layer, different scope
The products occupy the same decision layer in quotation and commercial work. Both are built for freight-forwarding teams. Both receive work from email, organise rate and quote activity, keep a human decision point and work with an existing operating system. That makes this a real comparison page. Wisor is not merely a TMS that FreighAI sits above. A buyer considering either platform for RFQ intake, rates, quotation or commercial follow-up is evaluating meaningful substitution.
Inside the inbox, or instead of it
The differences appear in where the work happens, and in how much of the job each product covers.
Wisor’s current material says it is “seamlessly integrated with Outlook and Gmail” and describes Wisor Ignite as an agent that “transforms your inbox into a revenue engine”. In plain words: Wisor works inside your inbox. The pricing desk keeps its mailbox; Wisor works from inside it.
FreighAI works instead of your inbox. It watches every company mailbox, pricing, operations, tracking and accounts, and follows each conversation from start to finish. It writes the reply, creates the task, and puts it in front of the right person in the right department, beside the original conversation. Your team approves. They do not compose, forward, file or chase. The reply goes out in their name.
The email is only the start. The real time goes on what comes after it. Find the rate on the carrier’s site. Check the tracking in another tab. Open the TMS for the job. Look up what you charged this customer last time. Forward it to operations and wait. Chase the agent, or forget to. FreighAI does all of that itself. It pulls your rate cards, checks the carrier, looks up the customer’s history, reads the shipment status, and talks to your TMS or accounting system. It chases what has not come back. It passes the work from pricing to operations to accounts, with the email and everything it found attached. Nobody forwards it. Nobody re-keys it. Nobody asks for an update. Then it puts the finished piece in front of the right person, with the reply already written.
Your people work in FreighAI. Not in the inbox. Not in five browser tabs.
Wisor’s integration material does describe managing company emails, the sales pipeline and invoices in one system. What it does not establish is department-by-department mailbox coverage beyond commercial work, or task assignment to a named person. Ask to see both.
Breadth of the job
Wisor’s public narrative is organised around commercial performance: pipeline, rates, quotation, sales follow-up and the move toward booking. FreighAI’s product family extends across the forwarding lifecycle: quotation, booking and job orders, tracking, partner discovery, invoice reconciliation and payment collection, with separate products for sales CRM, warehouse operations, outreach and trade-expo follow-up.
Breadth is not automatically better. A focused platform can be easier to evaluate and may go deeper in the buyer’s most important area. A broader platform is useful when several workflows should share one customer context.

What happens to one enquiry in FreighAI
An enquiry arrives. FreighAI reads it, notices the weight is missing and asks for it. It pulls your rate cards, checks the carrier for a live rate, and emails your agents for the lanes you do not hold, then chases them until they reply. It drafts the quote with your margin rules and what that customer paid on that lane last time. Your pricer approves and it goes. It follows up. When the customer pushes back, the counter-offer is already drafted. When the quote is old, it expires. When it is won, the job is created.
Where the rate can be fetched without waiting on a person — a carrier API, a portal read in the background, or your own uploaded rate cards — a priced quote goes out in 10–15 minutes instead of 1–2 hours. That holds for ocean and air just as it does for express; the mode does not change it. Where a lane has to be priced by another agent or over the phone, the wait belongs to whoever is answering — not to the software. FreighAI still writes the RFQ, chases the reply, and turns whatever comes back into a priced, margin-checked quote the moment it lands.

The difference in kind: where your coordinator sits.
Ask where your coordinator would be sitting at ten in the morning: in the mailbox, or in the product. That answer is the difference in kind.

Which one you should actually pick
If nobody should ever choose the other product, this page would not be worth reading. Here is where each genuinely wins.
- the immediate buying problem is specifically rate management, quotation and the commercial pipeline;
- the team wants a tightly presented quote-to-revenue platform rather than a wider freight-operations suite;
- a meaningful share of RFQs arrive by phone and the buyer wants those captured from phone logs;
- centralising carrier, spot and agent rates is the decisive requirement, and Wisor’s demonstrated TMS connection matches the buyer’s system; or
- the buyer prefers Wisor’s workflow, interface, implementation model or commercial terms after testing both products on the same work. A buyer who chooses Wisor on those grounds is making a reasonable product-fit decision, not overlooking FreighAI.
- the buyer wants the team out of the mailbox: every department’s email read, sorted and turned into tasks for the right person, with replies going out in their names;
- the pricing burden is the legwork around the quote: asking for the missing detail, emailing every agent for a lane and chasing the ones who go quiet, drafting the counter-offer, expiring old prices;
- quotation needs to connect over time with booking and job orders, tracking replies, carrier-bill matching and collection on one platform;
- the first workflow must run standalone, with the option to work alongside a TMS or ERP later. Keep your TMS for the records. FreighAI runs the work around them.
- the buyer prefers FreighAI’s demonstration, human-control model and scoped implementation approach after testing both products on the same work.
FreighAI’s central proposition is: Same team. 5x more business. That is the intended value position, not a universal measured customer result. The product decision should still be made from demonstrated workflow fit and approved evidence.
Can FreighAI and Wisor coexist?
Possibly, but not carelessly. Both products overlap materially in RFQ, rate, quotation and commercial workflows. Running both against the same enquiry could create duplicate logic, conflicting records or uncertainty about which platform owns the customer interaction.
Coexistence makes sense only when responsibilities are clearly separated, for example one product for the commercial rate-and-quote process and the other for a downstream workflow such as invoice reconciliation, with shared customer identity, hand-offs and the source of truth defined. For most buyers evaluating the same commercial workflow, the practical choice is one or the other.
What should you verify in both demonstrations?
Bring the same evidence to both suppliers:
- a normal RFQ, a difficult RFQ and an incomplete RFQ;
- one live email thread from a department mailbox, with its history;
- the rate cards, carrier sources or agent requests actually used;
- the margin and approval rules that apply;
- the system that owns the accepted job; and
- an exception that requires human judgement.
Ask each supplier to show what happens when the rate is not machine-reachable. A carrier connection, background portal read or uploaded rate card is different from waiting for another agent or a phone call. Any turnaround comparison that ignores the rate source is misleading.
Then ask where your coordinator would be sitting at ten in the morning: in the mailbox, or in the product. That answer is the difference in kind.
Common questions
Is Wisor a TMS?
No, by its own positioning. It works above and connects to existing TMS/ERP platforms as an AI-led commercial and rate-management layer.
Does Wisor cover more than quotation?
Yes. Its current material includes rate management, sales pipeline/CRM, RFQ intake from email, portals and phone logs, customer online approval, scheduling, booking hand-off and shipment status. Verify the depth of each in the demonstration.
Is FreighAI only a quotation product?
No. FreighAI reads every company mailbox and turns each conversation into a task for the right person, whatever department it belongs to. Quotation is the strongest production-proven workflow in the current evidence, and all listed FreighAI products are commercially sellable: booking and job orders, tracking, partner discovery, invoice reconciliation and payment collection, with separate focused products.
Does FreighAI work inside Outlook and Gmail like Wisor?
FreighAI connects to your Gmail or Outlook accounts to read and send, so nothing changes for your customers. Your people, though, work in FreighAI rather than in the mailbox. The reply is drafted for them, held for their approval and sent in their name.
Which platform is faster to implement?
This page does not make that claim. Wisor publishes onboarding-time statements; FreighAI retired its earlier fixed-duration promises. We scope the first workflow, integration requirements and implementation plan with your team.
Which product is cheaper?
Comparable public pricing was not established for this review. Request commercial terms for the same workflow, connections, usage and support.
Do both keep people involved?
Your team approves every reply before it sends. Your team approves. They do not compose, forward, file or chase. The reply goes out in their name. Wisor’s material also describes quote review and customer online approval. Ask both to demonstrate the human gate and the exception path live.

Compare both products on your own work
Bring one real email thread from a department mailbox and the RFQs behind it, with the rate sources used and the system that owns the accepted job. Ask both teams to show the normal case, the missing detail, the agent who does not reply, the customer who pushes back, the approval and the hand-off. Then decide whether you need quote-to-revenue depth inside your inbox, or a platform that takes the inbox off your team’s desk and runs the work around your records.
